Overview

Spend your Fourth of July holiday under the stars at the 19th Annual Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks! This year the event will be held on the grounds just east of Deer Path Middle School.

After the show, enjoy the greatest fireworks display on the North Shore, set to a fantastic playlist of patriotic music.

This fun family event is brought to you by the Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation. All proceeds after festival expenses are used to support programs of the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department.

Created by the Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation in 2006, the Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks is an annual community event and fundraiser completely run by volunteers to provide a safe and fun environment for families celebrating Independence Day.

Over the years we have brought in award-winning entertainers including The Village People, Dennis DeYoung, KC and the Sunshine Band, Eddie Money, Rick Springfield, Wynonna, and Lou Gramm. We are so grateful to our sponsors who have helped make this event a huge hit!
