There is much jubilation for the upcoming season, and we are anxious for all the events to take place this year. Recently, there has been much media attention regarding the reopening of events for the Chicago market.
However, as we know that all of you (the vendors, retailers, restaurants, bars, merchants, not for profit organizations as well as Artist that participate in our fine arts events), had a difficult 2020 year we want to be respectful of your time and money.
With this understanding and coming out of the pandemic, we are being carefully optimistic, waiting for more specific information on guidelines and procedures. While we have created plans with health and safety as our top priority, there is still no assurance of when events will officially start.
To date, in the City of Chicago you can apply for an event, but currently there are no festivals permits being issued.
As we move forward, we will wait for city guidelines before we publish vending opportunities and initially only request an application fee with no immediate deposits required until we know that there is an opportunity for the event to be permitted.
We want to be transparent and respectful of your time and financial position and hope soon there will be more clarity of when events will start again.
We look forward to seeing you this summer with hopes that it will be soon.
Check back frequently as we will update information as it becomes available.
Want to reach an eclectic audience for your products or services at many of Chicago’s hottest summer events? You can do this by becoming an exhibitor affiliated with the 2020 Chicagoland Best Fest Series — a series of the most popular and acclaimed events and street fairs held in the city and suburbs.
If you’re a food or beverage vendor … retail merchant … artist … or anyone who wants to reach a dynamic buying audience for your products and/or services, becoming a Chicagoland Best Fest Series exhibitor is a smart, and cost-effective, marketing opportunity that enables you to reach consumers! Just as great is that most of the Series’ events benefit local chambers of commerce, business groups or non-profit organizations.
Corporations, chain stores, franchise companies, product brands, field marketing and promotional companies, marketing agencies, public relations firms and all their respective clients including free giveaways and sampling are considered SPONSORS, not vendors/exhibitors, and must contact Norine Smyth at 312-799-0354 or Laura Wilke at 773-584-6669. Please visit the sponsorship page for more details.
