WHERE WE STARTED…

Special Events Management started in sports — owner Hank Zemola previously worked as the head of CARA (Chicago Area Runners Association) before creating his own company.

Endurance events have evolved in the past decade with the addition of large-scale national programs. These programs provide resources that many small organizations cannot for area runners and walkers. However, like all cities, navigating permits, creating an accurate course and giving the participant a positive, unique experience all while raising money for a not-for-profit can be hard. That’s where we come into play. We know the rules and can take pressure off your organization to focus on what you do best.
