Join the North Berwyn Park District in promoting health and wellness in our community by running/walking and celebrating in our Fifth Annual 5K Run/Walk!
Proceeds from this event benefit North Berwyn Park District Art programs.
Corrida Highlights:
– The only CARA Certified 5K race that runs through the city of Berwyn
– Runners will be cheered on with entertainment throughout the race course, including live mariachis, traditional folkloric dance groups and a house music DJ
– Top male and female finishers as well as runners who finish in the top of their age/gender divisions will be awarded an authentic MARIACHI SOMBRERO
– A post-race party with authentic Mexican and Latin American food set to music and dance
– A large selection of kids activities at the post race party
– Water stations at the Start/Finish line and the 1.5 mile mark
– Mile markers on the course
– Medical staff
– Gear check
– Costumes are highly encouraged
