Overview

Chicago Pride Fest® is a two-day street festival on June 22-23, 2024; the weekend before the Chicago Pride Parade (June 30, 2024). The 23rd annual Chicago Pride Fest is a celebration of LGBTQ+ life, culture and community in  Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ Northalsted neighborhood.

Pride Fest features live music on 3 stages, a Youth Pride Space for teens, best of Chicago drag performance, the Proud Pet Parade with prizes, dance exhibitions, Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus, guest speakers and over 150 food and merchandise vendors

A $15 suggested donation for entry helps pays performers and festival workers, and supports local non-profits & community programs like the Chicago Pride Crosswalks; 14 rainbow paved intersections installed in 2019 that make up the longest installation of it’s kind in the world.

Pride Fest is easily accessed via the CTA Red Line Addison station at Wrigley Field, CTA Red/Brown/Purple Lines at Belmont, multiple bus lines, and rideshare car/cab services to hotels and other lodging.

Attention Residents & Businesses: the City of Chicago will begin towing cars:

  • Friday June 21 at 8:00am
  • 800-860 W. Bradley
  • 750-820 W Waveland

and

  • Friday June 21 at 11:00pm
  • 3600-3800 N Halsted St

Streets will reopen Monday, June 24 at 11:00am

No access to Halsted Street surface parking lots or parking garages (this includes Halsted Flats) beginning: 11:59pm on Friday June 21.

The Whole Foods parking lot will remain open for customers, with access on Waveland west of Halsted during the festival and regular operating hours.
