Since 1957, the Gold Coast Neighbors Association (GCNA) has worked to preserve the unique character and enhance the quality of life in one of Chicago’s most historic and vibrant neighborhoods. As a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization, GCNA champions public safety, supports historic preservation, promotes beautification, and serves as a vital voice on local development and civic issues.
GCNA is also proud to host Evening on Astor, the neighborhood’s premier summer celebration. Held each August, this elegant outdoor block party brings neighbors and visitors together for an unforgettable night of live music, fine dining, dancing under the stars, and community spirit—all set against the backdrop of iconic Astor Street.
Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the area, GCNA invites you to get involved, stay informed, and help build an even stronger Gold Coast community.
