ROSCOE VILLAGE BURGER FEST
Fire up the grills for the Midwest’s best Patty Party!
At least a handful of Chicago eateries will be partners in the tasty annual happening when Roscoe Village Burger Fest returns for its 14th mouth-watering year this September. Trust us when we say that they go to extraordinary lengths to impress burger aficionados.
When you add in two stages of rockin’ music, arts & crafts and the action-packed “Kids Zone” area, sizzling hot is the only way to describe this wildly popular Windy City food and music street happening.
In addition, over the weekend visitors even have the opportunity to vote for Chicago’s Best Burger!
A $10 suggested fest donation benefits the invaluable programs and services of the Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce.
Houndstooth, Fatso’s Top 2019 Burger Fest Awards
Congratulations go out to Houndstooth Saloon (www.houndstoothchicago.com) and Fatso’s Last Stand (www.fatsoslaststand.com) for making the best burgers at this year’s Roscoe Village Burger Fest.
The Southern-style patties of Houndstooth, located on Clark Street in Lakeview and a first-time Burger Fest vendor, was the People’s Choice winner in text voting.
And Fatso’s, located on Chicago Avenue in Ukrainian Village, won the 2019 Critics’ Choice Award voted on by local food critics and celebs.
This year’s Critics Choice Award judges include:
Christine Zwolinkski, Chicago-based lifestyle blogger at The Chicago Good Life
Samantha Esposito, food blogger at Chicago Burger Bible
Whitney Reynolds, talk show host at Whitney Reynolds Show

2022 Vendors Coming Soon!
Don't be misled by the name! Family-owned-and operated, Byron's (with locations on Irving Park Rd. and on Lawrence Ave.) has been a Chicago fixture since 1975 with (trust us!) mind-boggling offerings far beyond franks. More than a dozen juicy burgers are on the menu. They include everything from double and triple cheeseburgers to veggie, turkey and steak patties.
Located on Chicago Avenue in Ukrainian Village, Fatso's started with the concept of a hamburger/hot dog stand and took it to the next level. It's a snack bar, a family place, and a late-night food haven. Be sure to check out their mouth-watering single (or double) "Fatso Burger".
Wrigleyville's premier country sports bar and live music venue takes its name from University of Alabama coach Bear Bryant’s trademark houndstooth fedora. This Wrigleyville bar is pure ‘Bama from the crimson color scheme to the black-and-white photos of Bryant. Other than delicious southern fare, Houndstooth is known for their mouthwatering burgers. They won 1st Place in our 2019 People's Choice category and 2nd Place in the 2019 Critic's Choice category.
This South Loop entertainment emporium, a popular Burger Fest mainstay, does it all: from food and cocktails to music and concerts. On Reggies' food front, burgers take center stage. Among their patty offerings (all made from Angus beef and cooked on an open-flame, wood-fired grill) are: BBQ Bacon, Texas Jalapeno, Chorizo and Mushroom Swiss burgers. Add to that their tasty hand-cut fries, and Reggies is proud to make yet another tasty Burger Fest appearance.
Select Cut has been a proud Burger Fest vendor from Day One. Located on Halsted Street near Diversey, they have a well-deserved reputation as a friendly, casual neighborhood eatery known for its top quality steaks and burgers. This includes both their award-winning steak burger and tasty namesake "Select Cut" burger. Seafood, ribs and more are also on their menu. Family-owned and operated, the owners take pride in making sure every customer is pleasantly pleased with their broad menu offerings.
Expect something exceptional with this Burger Fest vendor that's back for its second year. Located on Halsted near Wrightwood in Lincoln Park, brothers Fahim and Faraz Sarharia take great pride in the food of their parents who hail from India and Pakistan. As for their unique burgers, visitors will delight in a seasoned taste sensation like no other!
