In partnership with Banner Wholesale Grocers, the Chicago Parks Foundation is thrilled to bring our inaugural 5K event to our beautiful lakefront as we celebrate our 10th year serving as your 501c3 park partner.
Our Post-Race Pancake Party will include a DJ, refreshments, and community fun – all right in the park!
The CPF is proud to partner with Banner Wholesale Grocers, a Chicago’s very own family-owned business serving communities for nearly 100 years. Just like our city’s beloved parks, Banner is uniquely Chicago!
Our goal is to bring more equitable and accessible park events to the central and south sides of Chicago, particularly as we mark our ten-year milestone. We chose this special Lakefront location within Burnham Park, just south of 31st Street Beach, to spotlight one of Chicago’s many hidden gems among our incredible 600+ parks.
