Algonquin Fest celebrates the heart, heritage and community spirit of the Village of Algonquin with a full weekend of family fun, live entertainment and local pride. Held at Spella Park, this exciting festival brings residents and visitors together to enjoy everything that makes Algonquin special.

The weekend features nonstop entertainment from favorite Midwest bands, arts and crafts vendors, local food, community organizations and plenty of activities for all ages. Families can enjoy the carnival midway throughout Saturday and Sunday, with tickets available for purchase on-site.

One of the weekend’s biggest highlights is the spectacular fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Rooted in tradition and reimagined for today, Algonquin Fest honors the community’s past while celebrating its vibrant future. Whether you come for the music, food, carnival or welcoming small-town atmosphere, it is the perfect way to experience the spirit of Algonquin.

Barone’s – Serving up classic pizza and Italian favorites, Barone’s brings comforting, crowd-pleasing flavors to the festival.

Blackhawk BBQ – Blackhawk BBQ offers a satisfying selection of festival favorites and seafood options, perfect for fueling a full day of fun.

Frank’s Greek Delights – Enjoy flavorful Greek street food featuring traditional Mediterranean-inspired favorites served fresh and ready to enjoy.

Frozen Dreamz – Cool off with Frozen Dreamz and its selection of refreshing frozen desserts and sweet festival treats.

Knights of Columbus – Knights of Columbus serves a variety of classic festival eats made for enjoying while exploring the event.

Quang Noodle – Quang Noodle serves flavorful Asian-inspired noodle dishes and festival favorites throughout the Chicagoland area.

Slice Factory – Grab a hot, generously sized slice from Slice Factory, serving classic pizza that is easy to enjoy on the go.

Vendor payment methods vary. We recommend bringing both cash and a card.

*Cash pricing, valid all day. Credit card purchases are available for an additional fee at the event.

Free parking is available at several nearby lots. See parking and traffic details for more information.

  • For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, please observe the following event rules:
    • No outside alcohol, food, or beverages
    • No coolers
    • No weapons of any kind
    • No face coverings intended to conceal identity, except for medical or religious purposes
    • No pets, except service animals
    • No bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or rollerblades
    • No smoking or vaping
    • Bags, wagons, strollers, and similar items are subject to search upon entry
    • Event staff reserves the right to deny entry or remove guests who violate event rules
  • Do vendors accept credit cards?
    • Many vendors accept both cash and credit cards; however, payment methods vary by vendor. Bringing both cash and a credit/debit card is recommended.
