Bustling downtown Evanston is about to get even hotter this June as it rolls out the welcome mat of creativity that is Fountain Square Artisan Fest.
Held just steps north of downtown’s eponymous (and recently renovated) Fountain Square, the North Shore’s oldest fine arts happening is celebrating its 41st anniversary in 2020. Presented by the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, it will showcase an inspirational mix of juried handiwork from nearly 100 eclectic artists.
For the young one’s there will be an activity area with several nifty interactive projects overseen by the Evanston Art Center. And to keep things jumping, there’s also a music stage, food and beer/wine vendors, and entertainment courtesy of strolling street musicians and performers.
