Expect a lot of the living (and not too many living dead) to enjoy themselves at Chicago's inaugural Zombie 5K Shuffle & Pub Crawl in the Logan Square neighborhood. Zombies--and zombie-themed events--are hot these days. Even more timely? May just so happens to be "Zombie Awareness Month"!
This new sporting event also gives participants the option to partake in a post-5K run/walk pub crawl (with discounted drinks) at local watering holes. In addition to zombies playfully "stalking" runners/walkers on the course route that traverses both Logan Square and nearby Palmer Square Park, participants are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to don their own blood-curdling attire.
