Have you always dreamed of being an All Star? Strike Out ALS is an exciting 5K at U.S. Cellular Field that features a rare opportunity to "run the bases" of the old Comiskey and take a lap around the warning track of U.S. Cellular Field! Following this historic race runners, family, friends and White Sox fans will be able to enjoy the 2012 All Star game live and under the lights of U.S. Cellular Field! The Jumbo-tron and concession stands at the park will be open and what better way to enjoy the All Star game then an experience like that!
Registration for the race is $40. Runners are encouraged, but not obligated to fundraise $90 on behalf of the Les Turner ALS Foundation. $90 dollars represents every 90 minutes that someone new is diagnosed with ALS, and someone loses their battle with ALS. The top 3 fundraisers will be receiving a unique prize in recognition of their dedication to the cause.
