Call it German. Or Bavarian. Or simply one of the worldwide parties celebrating the forthcoming change of season. It's all about beer, brats and having tons of fun when Oktoberfest Chicago at St. Alphonsus returns for its 13th year of autumn revelry.
Held both in and outside the spiraling (and iconic) West Lakeview church that was built in the late 1800's, highlights include plenty of brew and food (don't forget the pretzels!) plus two stages of music and, early Sunday afternoon, the always-popular "Kinderfest" with activities for kids and families.
