The 5K Mad Dash to Madison, 10K Skate is held as part of the team's annual Training Camp Festival, a day-long event filled with activities both outside and inside the United Center. The festival takes place on Saturday, September 22, between 8:00am and 2:00pm.
In addition to the morning's run/walk and skate, there's also Blackhawks Live Practice and Scrimmages open to fans, a "3 on 3" street hockey tournament, live music and much more.

Age group categories for the 5K are as follows: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65 and up.
Age group categories for the 10K skate are as follows: 14 and under, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-up.

What does the entry fee cover?
The entry fee includes a dry-fit shirt, A Jonathan Toews Bobblehead, post-race party and entry into the Chicago Blackhawks Training Camp Festival which takes place after the 5K.
Where does the race start?
The race will start on the north side of the United Center.
Where can I park?
There will be free parking in the United Center parking lots.
When is the race?
The 10K skate will begin at 8:00am Saturday, September 22nd with the 5K Run/Walk to follow at 9:00am.
