Fun! Eclectic! Exciting! People-Watching Galore! These are just a few of the ways to describe the 29th annual Northalsted Market Days, the largest two-day street fair in the Midwest that takes place on Saturday & Sunday, August 7-8.
Among the 40-plus performers on Northalsted Market Days' four music stages (which includes one dedicated to jazz) will be rock legend Joan Jett, Latin crooner Jon Secada, American Idol finalists Blake Lewis as well a Gina Glockson, original Broadway "Dreamgirl" Jennifer Holliday, and gay/lesbian faves Cathy Richardson and Adam Barta.
Another big draw of Northalsted Market Days are the 400 food and unique arts & craft vendors. From the tried and true to the zany and unique, the artisans (as well as food offerings) at the fest promise to something for every taste!
