Although autumn doesn't officially start until September 22, Chicagoans can usher in the change of seasons at the Oyster Fest on Saturday, September 18.
As its name implies, plenty of oysters and great beer--plus mix in a stellar music lineup--will be on the day's menu for the annual fest that will be held 2000 W. Roscoe (at Damen) in Chicago's Roscoe Village neighborhood.
A portion of the proceeds benefit the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce.

A portion of the proceeds benefits the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce. Since 1996, the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce has been working for Roscoe Village businesses. The Chamber is dedicated to providing leadership to help create the best possible place in which to operate a business, while enhancing the region as desirable place to live, work, and visit. The RVCC is a unique Chamber surrounded by 5000 residential residents. There are over 250 businesses in Roscoe Village boarded by Western, Diversey, Ravenswood, and Addison.
