This iconic annual celebration is one of the most ethnically unique outdoor events in the Midwest. Attracting tens of thousands from throughout the region, Chinatown Summer Fair (www.chicagodragons.com for the day's schedule as the date nears) is a true celebration of Far East beauty and culture including food, art and music. Visitors will be amazed by the Lion Dance Procession (at 12:30 p.m.) as well as classical Chinese dance and martial arts demonstrations. There's also Old and New World music acts, kids' activities, artisans, authentic cuisine from neighborhood restaurants and much more.
